This page says what this website does with your details. It is short because the site does little: it shows you information and carries your enquiry to us.
Who is responsible
Orivex Exports is responsible for the details you send through this site. Questions about them go to hamza@orivexexports.com.
What we receive
Only what you type into a form or send us by email or WhatsApp:
- Your name, company, role, email address and phone number
- Your requirement: materials, quantities, destination, documents and notes
- A delivery address, a phone number for the courier and, if you give one, a tax number, when you ask for a sample
- Any file you choose to attach
What we use it for
To answer your enquiry, send a sample, and prepare a quotation or contract. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or pass your details to anyone for their own use. The forms do not ask you to tick a consent box: sending a form is asking us to answer it, and that is all we use it for.
To carry out what you ask, some details go to others who work for us: a courier needs a name and address to deliver a sample, and a laboratory needs to know what to test.
Where form submissions go
Forms on this site are handled by Netlify, our website host, which stores each submission and forwards it to us by email. Like any web host, it also keeps short-lived technical logs of requests to the site.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies and loads no analytics or advertising scripts.
What stays in your browser
While you fill in the RFQ form, your answers are saved in your own browser so that a reload does not lose them. They stay on your device, and are removed when you send the form, press “Clear the form”, or after thirty days. After you send a form, a copy of what you sent is kept in the browser tab so that the confirmation page can show it; it is gone when you close the tab. The reference is also written in the address of the confirmation page, after a #, which your browser does not send to us. If you use “Email this summary to myself” there, the message is written in your own mail program and sent by you.
How long we keep it
For as long as we are in discussion or doing business with you, and afterwards for as long as our business records require. Ask us at any time to delete your details and we will, unless a contract or the law requires us to keep a record.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Write to hamza@orivexexports.com.
